Celebrating the pollinators in our world. This original illustration was made in Procreate on my iPad. The detailed and textured style is like watercolor, which helps to make the flowers look super delicate. And the big bee reminds us all how important pollinators are to our world. We need to take care of them!
The design was originally created for the back panel of my denim jacket, something I can often be found wearing while I roam around garden centers or doing some planting in my yard. The image was printed onto satin at Spoonflower, and then sewn onto the jacket and embellished with beads and Swarovski gems.
I love being able to create original art digitally and then output the art to use as I want. It offers a lot of flexibility, and my mind explodes with possibilities.
