Pani Page (BlakOpal) and Trilo Byte have individually been making art for decades. They started creating real-world art together 2006 and since then haven’t looked back.
Current passions run between creating healthy food, art for every day living, and staying on top of new technology.
They enjoy exploring ways of using new technology in their creation process. From early days of creating wearable virtual fashions in the online worlds of Second Life and Sinespace, to incorporating tech tools in physical projects including using 3D printing, and CNC tools to create interactive environments.
The BlakOpal Eats food inspiration comes from a long history of badass women cooking for big families. Taking those well-loved family recipes and bringing them into a world of healthy-eating, ideas take shape in the form of plant-based eating, and gluten-free concerns. However, the changes never come at the expense of flavor or texture. This is a new journey, and one that brings lots of excitement in the kitchen.
