Artists BlakOpal and Trilo Byte have individually been making art for decades, and creating real-world art together since 2006. In 2008 they began making wearable art and environments in the world of Second Life.
Drawn in by the appeal of the next-generation Unity game engine (as well as support for cloth physics) and the company’s commitment to accessibility, they began making content for the world of SineSpace in 2016 and haven’t looked back. One of the platform’s first merchants, as well as designers with an in-world shoppe, BlakOpal Designs was the first to bring cloth physics to SineSpace with dresses and coats that flowed beautifully with movement.
Beyond virtual worlds, BlakOpal Designs offers a range of 3D printed jewelry and specialty items for humans. After years of deep immersion in California’s food culture, they have also begun to document some of their most delicious culinary exploits.
